another collective feel-good moment

this one happened in london’s trafalgar square last thursday. about 13,500 people, including none other than p!nk, turned up to sing hey jude. it was more or less spontaneous, apparently, and organised by t-mobile as part of their ‘life’s for sharing’ campaign. brilliant. one day i’m gonna be in the right place at the right time for one of these deals.

helen mirren couldn’t be hotter

Damn. There needs to be a law, I think, that we all improve with age. Now, allegedly Dame Helen here is all natural, no work done. I don’t really care, frankly. When the end result is as good as this, then I’m not sure it’s important.

It really is a shame Dame Helen is so thoroughly and loudly straight. Ah well. We can’t have ‘em all, I guess.
